I contacted Pat around 6/21/11 because my dog Max an 11.5yr old Tibetan terrier had suddenly stopped eating and started drinking a large volume of water. Pat "nailed" his condition as well as the complications surrounding his condition from only telling her he wasn't eating and was drinking large volumes of H2O. She stated it was his kidney's and thyroid being challenged....sure enough he had been put on a thyroid meds, LThyroxin years earlier and has needed larger doses of the thyroid pills throughout the years since. His blood test indicated to the vet that he had renal failure! She said his original health conditions back when he was put on the thyroid pills could have been treated with homeopathics and diet, but now his thyroid was addicted to the L.Thyroxin and this would shorten his life if we could not get him off it. He also has a challenge from being double vaccinated with rabies when he was 6.5 months old. So she suggested I start out by giving him broths which I did for about 2 weeks.
With Pat's BIO-8 and CLO-3 supplements combined with specific homeopathic
remedies, Max started to improve. His appetite returned and he started
eating on his own again! Then she had me wean him off the L.Thyroxin and
introduce Raw thyroid glandulars. As of today 8/7/11 Max's thyroid
dose has been reduced to a 1/2 pill L.Thyroxin and raw glandulars 2x a
day. His appetite is returning to normal, reduced H2O intake, weight is
back to normal, good stools, and gaining energy and endurance back on the walks.
